a pink october sunset.

right before this series of photos — the sky was dark and grey and stormy — all of the rain had emptied itself into the sea, and churned the water, so it was incredibly windy. i was just packing up to head home, when, just as the sun was going down behind me far away on the west coast, everything suddenly went pink. i barely had enough time to take these shots before the moon was the brightest spot in the sky.
